About Ventura County Electrician Pros
A no-cost, local referral service. Not a electrician or electrical contractor.
Who we are
Ventura County Electrician Pros is a no-cost referral service for homeowners, renters, and property owners in and around Ventura County, California. We are not a contractor, and we do not perform electrical work ourselves. When you send us a request, we connect you with an independent local electrician or electrical contractor that serves your area, and that provider contacts you directly. Always verify a contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov before hiring.
Why this site exists
Electrical problems can be dangerous, and it's hard to know whether you need a quick repair or a bigger upgrade. We publish plain, safety-first information about common electrical issues in Ventura County homes and give homeowners one easy way to reach a local electrician without calling around.
How the referral works
- Tell us what you need. Fill out the short form with your city and the electrical work or problem.
- We connect you. We pass your request to one independent local electrician who covers your area.
- Get an assessment and estimate. The electrician contacts you, asks questions or visits, and gives you an estimate.
- You decide. Ask questions, compare if you like, and hire only if it's right for you. No obligation.
What we promise, and what we don't
- Using this site costs you nothing. Providers, not homeowners, support the service.
- We share your request with one independent local provider, not a long list of companies.
- We do not do the work, set prices, or guarantee any provider's work. The provider you hire is responsible for its license, permits, insurance, estimate, and workmanship.
- We don't publish made-up customer stories, invented statistics, or made-up credentials.
- We never give do-it-yourself electrical instructions beyond resetting a tripped breaker, and we always put emergency safety steps first.
Protect yourself when hiring
Ask for the provider's California contractor license number and check it on the CSLB website. Electrical contractors hold a C-10 license, and people doing electrical work for them generally must be state-certified electricians. Ask for proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation if they have employees, get a written estimate, and confirm who pulls the permit. In California, a contractor generally cannot ask for a down payment of more than 10% of the contract price or $1,000, whichever is less, for home improvement work.
