Emergencies first

If you see sparks, smoke, or flames, or smell burning, get everyone out and call 911 from outside. If a power line is down, stay far away, keep others away, and call 911 and SCE. Don't use this form for emergencies.

What helps the provider respond accurately

• What you need: a project (panel, EV charger, lighting, ADU) or a problem (tripping, dead outlets, flickering).
• When the problem started and what was running at the time.
• Your panel's brand and main breaker size, if you can see them without removing any cover.
• Your home's approximate age and whether you own or rent.
• Gate codes or access notes, and the best time to reach you.
